No. VerseVenture does not require a VerseVenture account. Parents set a PIN during onboarding and create child profiles on the device.
Complete onboarding, set a parent PIN, add a child profile, then let the child continue Romans 8 Quest from child mode.
The parent dashboard is protected by the PIN created during onboarding. Returning from child mode requires the parent PIN before parent settings are shown.
The child home shows the next Romans 8 verse, chapter road progress, stars, review needs, and rewards. Completing a real attempt opens the next verse.
VerseVenture saves locally first. iCloud sync is optional and depends on the device being signed into iCloud. Family data syncs through your family Apple ID using Apple CloudKit.
Check that you're signed into iCloud on both devices, iCloud is enabled, VerseVenture has iCloud permission if prompted, and both devices have network access. If it continues, contact support.
The core Romans 8 Quest does not require microphone or speech access. If future recitation features are enabled, iOS microphone and speech permissions are controlled by the parent or device owner in iOS Settings.
Deleting the app removes local app data from the device. Families using iCloud sync can also manage synced data through Apple iCloud settings. To request review, correction, or deletion of your child's data, email VerseVenture@GospelCall.ai.
